For those fearful that the declining ratings of Glee would signal its demise, there is nothing to worry about. Usually, bloated budgets often kick programs of the sort off of broadcast when viewership normalizes, but Fox seems to have prepared themselves from such a disaster as they may have learned from their experiences with House. TV Line is reporting today that Helen Mirren will do a guest spot on the January 17th episode of Glee where the award-winning actress will not physically be on camera. Instead, she will play the “inner voice” of one of the characters and that is all we know for now. Mirren is reportedly a big fan of the show, so landing the movie actress to spend a little time of the small screen was a cinch.
