For those fearful that the declining ratings of Glee would signal its demise, there is nothing to worry about. Usually, bloated budgets often kick programs of the sort off of broadcast when viewership normalizes, but Fox seems to have prepared themselves from such a disaster as they may have learned from their experiences with House. That said, the news is today that the network has renewed their Ryan Murphy-created dramedy for two more years. Just a heads up because I have not mentioned it in a while, Glee’s ratings are definitely not what they used to. It is still a bankable program for the broadcaster to carry, but it is no longer a ‘hit’ television show by any means which may explain why the pop culture refs have subsided. Glee star Matthew Morrison is in a new ensemble-film with Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, and a whole bunch of other well-known people, so naturally he went on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote it. The movie is called What to Expect When You’re Expecting.

White Collar’s Matt Bomer has been pretty busy as of late. In addition to regular duties on his USA Network show, he has been attached to Steven Soderbergh’s male-stripper feature known as Magic Mike, and now the actor is going to do a guest spot on Glee. TV Line is reporting today that Bomer will appear on the Fox dramedy come April as Blaine’s older brother. Stay tuned for an air date once the episode gets closer to broadcast.
