Television star and former Emmy host Jane Lynch took to Conan last night to do two things. While promoting Glee, she talked about her smoking in clown makeup and…even better…Lynch shared her oddly vast rapping abilities. It is good stuff from the Wreck-It Ralph voice actress so go ahead and hit the jump for the view as she also explains screen-anger versus real-life anger.
Just a heads up because I have not mentioned it in a while, Glee’s ratings are definitely not what they used to. It is still a bankable program for the broadcaster to carry, but it is no longer a ‘hit’ television show by any means which may explain why the pop culture refs have subsided. Jane Lynch has a voice-over part in Disney’s latest computer animated effort Wreck-It Ralph, thus why the Glee star is out on the talk show circuit. Last night saw the former Emmy host on The Tonight Show working on awareness for the flick. The interesting stuff came in part two where the now on-screen actress dished on her voice-over past including a time when her part was suddenly switched to off-camera on one of her earlier gigs.
