Dane Cook is making his way to broadcast television via a new comedy called Next Caller. The show’s premiere is still a ways off, but the following preview for the mid-season show does look promising thanks in part to Arrest Development alumni Jeffrey Tambor.
Just a side note in case you hated this, the only comedy NBC flat out cancelled this off-season to make room for Next Caller is the one from Chelsea Handler. The network has opted to go the less risky route and give Community, Whitney, and 30 Rock 13-episode orders with the first two getting more episodes should the fleet of new arrivals prove unworthy of air time. 30 Rock should be ending after the half-season concludes regardless of ratings performance although the network has intentionally held the announcement back in case they change their minds.

Here is the first theatrical trailer for Lucky starring Colin Hanks as a serial killer/lottery winner. This will not be the only time Colin Hanks plays the role as a serial killer as the actor has just joined the cast for the sixth season of Dexter as the principal antagonist opposite Michael C. Hall.
