Debra and Hannah Showdown in Sneak Peek at the Season Finale of ‘Dexter’

The advance clips have just landed for next weekend’s seventh season finale of Dexter.  Audiences expect the outing to help segue into the show’s eighth and final year on the air, but for the most part they also want a bit of closure which is usually captured in the death of a principal antagonist to wrap things up.  Seeing how that was already taken care of, there is only hope that something satisfying will occur without yet another monster cliffhanger.  Here is the footage which includes Dexter (Michael C. Hall) contemplating going on the run and a showdown between Jennifer Carpenter’s Debra and Yvonne Strahovski’s Hannah McKay. Continue Reading

Cliffhanger Spoiled as Showtime Releases First Two Minutes of ‘Dexter’ Season Seven

Dexter just hit Comic-Con hard as Showtime just released the first two-minutes of the upcoming 2012 season for their top drama.  The reason this is so big is because season six ended in a cliffhanger, leaving viewers moments away from what would be one of the most gripping scenes in the entire series.  Needless to say, the moment does not disappoint and even though it reveals a whole lot, audiences will be wanting to see more instantly.

More specifically, this two minutes of footage has Michael C. Hall’s Dexter trying to explain to his sister Debra (Jennifer Carpenter) why he murdered a guy by saran wrapping him to a table.  Dexter’s answer?  ”I’m in forensics and I wanted to be cautious.”  It looks like Debra is not buying it 100%, so this year’s run could be filled with even more ‘relationship’ drama between the two characters.  Hit the jump for the view and the season six recap which also just hit the net.
