By Jeff Rosz | May 18th, 2013 Zoe Saldana who plays Uhura in the new Star Trek Into Darkness movie took to Jimmy Fallon last night to play some Spaceballs. She also spoke about her new movie among other things. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 16th, 2013 We have not seen Julie Bowen or any other cast member of Modern Family on the talk show circuit recently; however, that all changed last night. The Claire Dunphy-player was on Jimmy Fallon last night to promote the show’s fourth season finale which airs next Wednesday. Here is the footage. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 15th, 2013 Ken Jeong was on Jimmy Fallon last night doing more press for The Hangover Part III. The actor also found time to talk about the fifth season renewal of Community as well as his ‘photo shoot’ with Kate Upton. It was everything you would expect from a Ken Jeong appearance. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 14th, 2013 Bradley Cooper was on Jimmy Fallon last night to do a little more press for The Hangover 3 which is a bit more than a week away from release. The actor once again insisted this was the final installment in between talking about things like Silver Linings Playbook at the Oscars and Jennifer Lawrence’s character in American Hustle. He then went on to try a new game out with Jimmy. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 11th, 2013 Benedict Cumberbatch was guest number three on Jimmy Fallon last night. The actor has been stateside promoting Star Trek Into Darkness even though most of America still has no idea who he is, but it has been pretty good for fans of Sherlock. He was on David Letterman the other day and the overseas broadcast of The Graham Norton Show earlier in the week, giving an extra opportunity to hear that unbelievable voice and more about how he was pranked on the set of Star Trek. Simon Pegg explained that on Kimmel Tuesday evening. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 10th, 2013 Nikolaj Coster-Waldau of Game of Thrones fame was on Jimmy Fallon last night for a brief pit stop. He talked about a few things including his cameo on Saturday Night Live and the most thrilling story you will ever hear about shoes. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 9th, 2013 Here is a little bit more Zachary Quinto today for those looking for Star Trek Into Darkness interviews. The Spock player was on Jimmy Fallon last night where he talked about receiving the Vulcan salute from President Obama (a story we heard before) and his Broadway play beginning its run this fall. He also made it known that the Bad Robot team likes to have fun during press junkets…with vocabulary. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 8th, 2013 John Krasinski was out last night doing more promotion for the end of The Office. The show is coming to an end next Thursday via a 2 hour 15 minute salute front-loaded with a one-hour revisit, so NBC thinks this will be quite the event. A larger picture question might be whether or not fans will return for finale night given this used to be a cult comedy. A 50% ratings pop might be in the cards, but even so that is far below the series’ best performances. For now, we wait and watch Krasinski lip-sync with Jimmy Fallon. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 7th, 2013 The Office star Jenna Fischer was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Monday night to promote her new play. Of course, the big topic of conversation was the ending of her long-running sitcom during which she spoke of the Scranton, Pennsylvania wrap party in which Steve Carell showed up unexpectedly. Interestingly enough, we hear he is planning on doing the same thing via a cameo on finale night next week. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 3rd, 2013 Isla Fisher has a new moving coming out next week. She fills the role of Myrtle opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Joel Edgerton in the Baz Luhrmann remake of The Great Gatsby. She was on Jimmy Fallon last night to drum up some press for the film. During the interview, she talked about landing a role in the production which was very good because it set up one heck of a summer for her between this and the illusionist heist thriller Now You See Me. Both efforts should be her biggest since Wedding Crashers in which she memorably played Vince Vaughn’s clingy love interest. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 3rd, 2013 Zach Galifianakis is hosting Saturday Night Live this week, so that meant a Fallon appearance Thursday night. The Hangover star is fronting the sketch series for the third time on May 4, and we really cannot wait to see how it goes. Last time out, the comic used his stand-up talents to make a memorable monologue in which he sang Tomorrow dressed as Annie. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 2nd, 2013 Ben Kingsley took to Jimmy Fallon last night where he ALMOST let the cat out of the bag on an important plot point to Iron Man 3. Those who read the spoilers know exactly what I am talking about here, but fear not those who are still in the dark. Odds are what he says was not specific enough to give anything away. It basically sounds like a normal conversational piece until he balks. Still, this is nowhere near as bad as David Letterman asking Anne Hathaway about Batman dying after he saw that particular film. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | April 30th, 2013 Rebel Wilson has a brand new movie out in the marketplace. The film is Michael Bay’s Pain & Gain in which the MTV Movie Awards host had a small supporting role as Anthony Mackie’s wife. She took to Jimmy Fallon Monday to promote the pic, and here is that. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | April 27th, 2013 SNL vet Amy Poehler made her way to Late Night last night where the actress was once again promoting her fifth-year NBC comedy. The show’s ratings are sporadic at best, but it is widely assumed the show will be back for a sixth year especially with the exit of The Office. If you like Amy, but not her sitcom, do not worry. She did not talk too much about it as she instead took part in a rousing game of Password. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | April 26th, 2013 Susan Sarandon was on Jimmy Fallon last night to promote her R-comedy The Big Wedding. The movie arrives this week in which she acts alongside Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton, Topher Grace, and many others. Critics are not being too kind at all to the film as it sports a 3% after over 35 reviews on Rotten Tomatos. One might suggest that Iron Man 3 effected these scores as they had to watch this one after they saw the summer’s biggest movie (which comes out the following week.) Apple and oranges, sure, but that dynamic also has the ability to make other things appear worse than they are…same thing goes with critics who go into screenings hungry. Go figure. Continue Reading
