By Jeff Rosz | April 26th, 2013 In recent days, we received quite a few character posters for Red 2 (the most recently one has Anthony Hopkins front and center,) but today there is an actual trailer to look at–the second one for that matter. It is more of the same stuff as Bruce Willis and John Malkovich are back in the saddle for more spy comedy fun releasing July 19.
By Jeff Rosz | April 23rd, 2013 Red 2 has the daunting task of opening side-by-side with Universal’s R.I.P.D. in three months’ time (something I still do not think will happen as one might delay themselves out of contention,) so the marketing machine is hard at work. There is a pair of character posters with Bruce Willis and John Malkovich to look at today, thus the mention. The film hits July 19 and the trailer link is here for those who missed it.

By Jeff Rosz | February 11th, 2013 With the long-awaited sequel to Red finally showing up on movie-goers scanners last month through the trailer reveal, there seems to be a bit of excitement for a popcorn movie that could do no harm in the month of August. The cast is back together which includes a gun-toting Helen Mirren and a maniacal John Malkovich with Bruce Willis as the glue, and today we mention it once more because a new poster has come out featuring the tagline: “The Best Never Rest.” Cute, right? Hit the jump for the view. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | January 21st, 2013 Today brings with it another clip for the zombie comedy Warm Bodies which is due out early next month. Jonathan Levine’s follow-up to 50/50 is getting a ton of love early on, so I thought it was worth sharing the first official clip featuring Mr. John Malkovich who is almost always brilliant. This time he plays the leader in humanity’s fight against the zombie apocalypse. Watch as he explains to his daughter (Teresa Palmer) about what an idiot she is to trust the undead. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | December 12th, 2012 We already have a trailer for Warm Bodies, but here are a few posters to go along with the Jonathan Levine-directed comedy about a girl (Teresa Palmer) who falls in love with a zombie (Nicholas Hoult) in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. The plot’s hook has the girl’s dad (John Malkovich) is in charge of extinguishing the undead plague. The new art features Hoult, Palmer, and Rob Corddry. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | November 30th, 2012 Next year should be a banner one for little-known actor Nicholas Hoult. The young gun who most of us first saw in X-Men: First Class as Beast will be seen in three movies: Warm Bodies, Jack the Giant Slayer, and Mad Max: Fury Road. Each of these pics has something special to it, but today we take a look at the first one. Warm Bodies casts Hoult as a zombie who is gradually turning human upon falling in love with a character played by Teresa Palmer. For those of you looking for how that might flow, do note this project marks Jonathan Levine’s follow-up to the cancer dramedy 50/50, so expect something similar in tone.
Ultimately, the latest trailer for the flick appears to give us exactly what we want–something along the lines of Zombieland in sincerity. World War Z with Brad Pitt is a different type of zombie movie, so naturally there is room for both options although the John Malkovich-starrer might end up doing better judging from the success of similar offerings. Go ahead and hit the jump for the view. This movie is definitely worth the time for anyone from the Walking Dead crowd. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 24th, 2012 What does the iPhone have that other smart phones do not? Siri. That is why Apple has rolled out a huge marketing campaign in recent months with movie and television stars using the novelty feature to show the Android loyalists what they are missing. Continue Reading
