Kevin Nealon did another segment for Ellen today.  This time the former-SNL cast member was working hard to get people married off, and he found a few lucky couples who would not be opposed to having the star of Showtime’s Weeds act as their minister.

Kevin Nealon Lines Up NBC Pilot for Potential “Weeds” Follow-Up

That didn’t take long.  With Weeds expected to be wrapping at the end of its upcoming eighth season, former Saturday Night Live cast member Kevin Nealon has already lined up a new gig–the role of an insurance salesman in NBC’s new comedy, Isabel.  The series is about a normal middle-class family and centers around raising the daughter of the flock whom the show is named after.

There currently is a whole lot of notable comedies in the pipeline at NBC right now from a variety of recognizable faces ranging from Dane Cook to Sarah Silverman, so keep in mind this is just a pilot;  however, the addition of Nealon is certainly a good sign for a series pickup down the road.
