Deadlinehas the story today that Jonah Hill will indeed be reuniting with his Moneyball co-star, Brad Pitt, but unfortunately for fans of the Oscar-nominated baseball film it will not be in front of the camera. Brad Pitt has tapped Hill to star alongside James Franco in a film that he is producing called True Story. Based on a memoir by New York Times journalist Michael Finkel, the Rupert Goold-directed feature centers around the journalist (Hill) who loses his job after falsifying elements of a story, but finds a shot at redemption when an accused murderer (Franco) insists on talking only to Finkel.
Update 3/29: It’s being reported that New Regency is set to finance the film. Production is set to begin in July and Fox has been named the distributor.
