Nick Offerman had a few project to promote fairly recently, so an interview on Jimmy Fallon is definitely not unexpected. The actor can be seen in the new-ish comedy Somebody Up There Likes Me which is now available on-demand all while the fifth season of Parks & Recreation trots on. It is always nice to see Offerman on the circuit which is why I chose to post which could be in tenth talk show appearance of the past year. Continue Reading
Apparently, tomorrow night’s episode of Parks & Recreation will feature yet another big screen actor dropping by for a cameo. Jason Schwartzman has been tapped to play a local video store owner looking for financial assistance. The preview is now out on the net complete with Nick Offerman’s Ron Swanson talking smack about bailouts citing the intellectual discussion at the hardware store as reason enough to allow Schwartzman’s business to go belly up. Parks & Recreation star Nick Offerman hit the talk show circuit last night where he visited Jay Leno. He was on the program to promote his new indie feature Somebody Upstairs Likes Me, but the actor was also on to promote the on-going fifth season of his NBC comedy. The show may not be holding its own (without The Office a few weeks back it did miserably,) but it is doing fairly well and should end up receiving a sixth year renewal. Topics of conversation included his Parks & Rec co-star getting the gig leading Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and what it is like to actually produce a movie. Continue Reading
Another installment of Nick Offerman Reads Tweets From Young Female Celebrities ran on the all-new Conan Wednesday night. As usual, Taylor Swift was one of the subjects as well as Demi Lovato and Miranda Cosgrove. It is always fun to see the Parks & Recreation star do this and it probably will not be the last time. Hit the jump for the view. Continue Reading

There is a brand new segment that debuted last night on Conan with the premise of Nick Offerman reading tweets from young actresses. The concept is pretty weird, but it works because we love Ron Swanson. Here is to hoping this turns into a recurring bit.
There is some interesting news from the set of Parks & Recreation to report today centered around Nick Offerman. The Ron Swanson actor will be writing an episode of the critically acclaimed NBC comedy for this current television season. Given his character is a hands-off libertarian department head, this may seem like a surprise to some, but behind-the-scenes Offerman is anything but his on-screen persona. Hitfix recently ran an interview with the actor in which they asked what he did to get the gig, and apparently he has been contributing some of the show’s dialogue for sometime now. Exciting stuff for fans of the show and its cast.
The Nick Offerman written episode of “Parks & Recreation” is the eigthteenth of the show’s current season.
