Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as a paranormal activity hunters? Yes, yes, and yes. That movie does exist, and we have another trailer for it today courtesy from across the pond. The Conjuring hits theaters on July 16. Oh, and just to point out, Saw director James Wan is behind the camera on this project. He is the director on Fast & Furious 7 so get ready to vaguely know his name for those of you not a fan of the horror genre.

Heigl is coming off of the release of One For the Money–an action comedy that grossed $37 million on a $40 million budget. Her next movies include the previously mentioned Big Wedding and A Moment to Remember. The latter comes from The Sessions director Ben Lewin.

Vera Farmiga has earning a lot of street cred from fans for her portrayal as Norma Bates in the A&E drama Bates Motel, and that should definitely help her sell tickets to her new horror film. She stars alongside Patrick Wilson in The Conjuring as one-half of a ghost hunting team. We previously saw a 
Katherine Heigl is firmly back in the saddle with another production set to follow-up next month’s release of The Big Wedding. Deadline reported earlier this afternoon that the actress is teaming up with Patrick Wilson and Darko Entertainment for North of Hell. The dark comedy sets the Gifted Man star as a successful businessman with an obsessive controlling wife (Heigl.) This sounds like a really good project for the Grey’s Anatomy alumna as she seems to be riding a wave of low-profile material as of late. We will keep our eyes on this one as it has Skateland’s Anthony Burns directing.
Can’t wait until you can see Vera Farmiga on Bate’s Motel? Neither can us, but while we wait let’s take a look at her latest feature project coming out in July. Her co-stars on this one are Patrick Wilson and Ron Livingston (who just joined Boardwalk Empire season four by the way) along with some people we really have not seen before. That has never been much of a problem for the genre in the past, so just go ahead and check out the trailer for this James Wan feature about a family living among spirits in a New England farmhouse. Just to clarify, Farmiga, Wilson, and Livingston are not in today’s first look footage. 
Good news for Alec Baldwin fans. The actor has just signed on to star alongside Patrick Wilson (Insidious, Young Adult) in a noir mystery thriller titled Caught Stealing. Yes, this may be another ‘baseball movie,’ but not so much what many would expect. The plot centers on Wilson’s character, an alcoholic former baseball prospect (there you go,) who gets caught up in a ‘bloody’ treasure hunt through New York City. 
Can’t wait to get another look at Ridley Scott’s Prometheus? No worries. The international trailer hit today for the Charlize Theron and Patrick Wilson-lead feature. June 8th is the release date for Prometheus.
