It took a while, but Lionsgate has finally announced its Finnick Odair for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.  The coveted role will go to Sam Claflin which was actually expected for a while now.  The actor is best known for his performance as Philip in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and William in this summer’s Snow White and the Huntsman.  With both of those roles questionable going into additional installments of either series, this is a huge win for Claflin even though at times it looked like he was the only real choice for the gig.
