‘Smash’ Recruits Sean Hayes for Recurring Role

The NBC drama Smash is quickly becoming known for its ability to draw in top talent for guest appearances, much like its Fox counterpart Glee.  Back in June, it was announced the Jennifer Hudson would be recurring on the series’ sophomore season and today it was revealed that Will & Grace alum can be found in several upcoming episodes as well.

While this may not be as big a deal as the appearance from Hudson, it does solidify the show as a destination for guest spots which makes us all wonder if this could be the last big addition for season two or only just the latest.  Hit the jump for the press briefing. Continue Reading

Sean Hayes to Guest Star on ‘Hot in Cleveland’

Vulture is reporting that Will and Grace star Sean Hayes will guest star on TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland in the series’ upcoming third season.  The actor will play a hand model and the love interest for one of the show’s female leads. Sean Hayes has also been in the news lately after reports surfaced that NBC is developing a sitcom for him that is scheduled to air in the 2012-2013 television season.  The actor will play the gay parent of a 12-year-old kid.
