Kate Winslet has just added another potential award-winner to her IMDB. According to Variety, she has just signed on to star in Kenneth Branagh’s The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society–a post-World War II period film set in 1946 about a magazine reporter who corresponds with the residents of Guernsey, an island once occupied by the Nazis. The project is based on a book by Annie Barrows.
Winslet was last seen in Steven Soderbergh’s Contagion as Dr. Erin Mears (pictured above.)
