By Jeff Rosz | May 16th, 2013 About a week from now, Todd Phillips’ The Hangover trilogy will come to an end with the release of its third installment. Promotion has been pretty lax so far given the huge turn out for the sequel two years ago, but that might actually be because the thing promotes itself. Also, the good stuff to show is rated R which can be rather difficult to promote. Not to worry though because that is what red-band trailers for for. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 16th, 2013 Zach Galifianakis was on Conan last night to promote The Hangover Part 3. This was his latest pit stop after hosting Saturday Night Live, and it is still only a week out from release. The film will bow next Thursday, a day before Fast & Furious 6 in what will likely be one of the more packed Memorial Day Weekends in recent memory. That said, let’s take a look at the clip from one of the stand-up performer’s most-recent interviews in which he talked about an end-credits photo he tried to excise from the original Hangover. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 15th, 2013 Ken Jeong was on Jimmy Fallon last night doing more press for The Hangover Part III. The actor also found time to talk about the fifth season renewal of Community as well as his ‘photo shoot’ with Kate Upton. It was everything you would expect from a Ken Jeong appearance. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 15th, 2013 Justin Bartha’s NBC show The New Normal may have just been cancelled, but the actor still has his movies. He was on Conan last night talking about his most-recent one coming in the form of The Hangover Part III which releases in about a weeks’ time. During the interview, he discussed a number of things, but the clip released from the appearance has him talking about returning to Vegas after becoming somewhat of a town icon. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 14th, 2013 Today has another clip to offer for The Hangover Part III. This one features Bradley Cooper’s Phil and Ed Helms’ Stu coming together over a meal to talk about Alan’s well-being. It sounds boring, but there are some call backs that some might find entertaining. Release is set for May 23. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 14th, 2013 Bradley Cooper was on Jimmy Fallon last night to do a little more press for The Hangover 3 which is a bit more than a week away from release. The actor once again insisted this was the final installment in between talking about things like Silver Linings Playbook at the Oscars and Jennifer Lawrence’s character in American Hustle. He then went on to try a new game out with Jimmy. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 10th, 2013 One of the interviews I missed earlier in the week was that of a Ken Jeong appearance on The Tonight Show. The actor is coming off a small part in Pain & Gain and is now back on the circuit to promote his third time recurring as Mr. Chow in The Hangover trilogy. He talked about his tiger showbiz dad, his yearbook photo, and his increased role in the final Hangover movie. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 8th, 2013 It looks like Star Trek Into Darkness is not the only film in town trying to avoid competition by shaking up its release schedule. We are now hearing that Warner Bros. is electing to move The Hangover Part III’s release to the Thursday preceding the Memorial Day holiday, up one day from that Friday. The logic is sound–capitalize on having a hit property debut on a major moviegoing weekend while mitigating direct conflicts with rival films. That would be Fast & Furious 6 which has refused to budge from Friday, May 24 despite the obvious oversaturation at play. In the end, this is WB’s subtle way of conceding the top spot at the box office for that weekend, but hey, they can always say they have the number one comedy in America, right?
By Jeff Rosz | May 3rd, 2013 Zach Galifianakis is hosting Saturday Night Live this week, so that meant a Fallon appearance Thursday night. The Hangover star is fronting the sketch series for the third time on May 4, and we really cannot wait to see how it goes. Last time out, the comic used his stand-up talents to make a memorable monologue in which he sang Tomorrow dressed as Annie. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 2nd, 2013 Well, it looks like the biggest starts of the weekend are going to be the two leads from Todd Phillips’ Due Date. Robert Downey, Jr. is reprising his role as Iron Man on the feature side while the most-watched television broadcast will likely be Saturday Night Live. Coincidentally, the gig at the helm has gone to Zach Galifianakis who is out promoting The Hangover Part III which will arrive in theaters in just three short weeks. That said, we have no other choice but to look back on one of the most under-appreciated R-comedies of our time, an odd-couple road trip movie that starred the duo as they made their way to California together after being placed on the no-fly list. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | May 1st, 2013 Just two days ago, we saw a new Hangover 3 promo that featured some Heather Graham footage. It was not much but to see her back was pretty cool after she skipped Part II. That said, we are just as excited to see she got posterized complete with the baby we remember from four years ago…or is it?

By Jeff Rosz | April 30th, 2013 Yes, there is yet another poster for The Hangover Part III that needs our attention. This time it is John Goodman’s antagonist character–a great follow-up to yesterday’s giraffe.

By Jeff Rosz | April 29th, 2013 Here it is: the poster for The Hangover 3 we have all been wanting since that first trailer where Zach Galifianakis was driving around a giraffe yelling “my life is great!”

By Jeff Rosz | April 29th, 2013 Yes, pretty much the title explains it all here. There is some more footage in the latest commercial for The Hangover Part III which is now less than four weeks out from release. It may have to compete against the likes of Fast & Furious 6, but some people I know are willing to see both in the same weekend. This is what government holidays like Memorial Day were meant for, at least according to the Hollywood geniuses who decided to release these films side-by-side. Continue Reading
By Jeff Rosz | April 11th, 2013 More footage has been revealed for The Hangover Part III via the film’s second theatrical trailer. The promo just hit the web Thursday afternoon, featuring further plot details and a whole lot more John Goodman. Goodman easily steals the show in every minor supporting role he is in (see Flight if you don’t know what I mean,) so it is nice to see him get some additional screen time in the film’s latest advertisements. Also on display is more of Melissa McCarthy’s cameo. The Wolf Pack greatness lands after the jump. Continue Reading
