Despite tying up most of the loose strings with last night’s finale, there is a lot more Shameless left in the tank. Its premium network home renewed the show back in January, giving the William H. Macy/Emmy Rossum-led series a vote of confidence going forward. No footage is out just yet; however, the network did put out its trademark ‘come back next year’ promo at the end of the season-ender. Based on a novel by Matthew F. Jones, A Single Shot will hit the big screen later this year, pitting hunter John Moon (as played by Sam Rockwell) against a gang of criminals. William H. Macy is also on board the effort which is being directed by David M. Rosenthal. This has the hallmarks of a direct to on-demand release, so we expect that although it does look pretty good compared to such features. Judge for yourself as the first trailer just landed online.

William H. Macy visited Jimmy Fallon last night in part to promote the upcoming third season of his Showtime drama, Shameless. The television show is among one of the most widely watched programs on the premium network, but it is yet to gain a lot of attention in the trades or from critics. Hopefully the series will see 2013 as a turning point because it really is a high-quality dramedy with a growing audience. Emmy Rossum stars in Shameless with William H. Macy supporting as an impoverished Chicago family’s dead-beat father. Why he has not garnered award recognition for this role just yet is anyone’s guess. 
Showtime has finally seen fit to display their full-length trailer for Shameless season three. Since footage has been landing online for a while now, we cannot help but wonder what took the premium network so long as premiere day is about a month away. Nonetheless, it is welcomed by fans who have missed the impoverished Chicago-based Gallaghers led by Emmy Rossum’s Fiona and everyone’s favorite deadbeat father played by William H. Macy. For the most part, there is absolutely nothing new to talk about that has not already been said pertaining to the show’s previous season three spots. Steve and Fiona’s relationship continues to be front and center with a whole new set of problems while Cameron Managhan’s Ian Gallagher is up to his old streetwise tricks. Hit the jump for the view.

Jimmy Kimmel Live had William H. Macy on Thursday night to promote his Showtime series Shameless. The show is not running anytime soon, so the actor talked about how he is passing the time before shooting begins for season three in June. Two words: Motorcycle Trip. He also discussed playing maybe the worst guy ever on Shameless.
This past Sunday, Showtime debuted the second season of their number three show to series high ratings. It is only fitting the premium network would try to maintain the momentum by launching their typical week-to-week clips and other bonus footage, and that is why today fans can get a glimpse of whats in store for the current season from this new trailer just released.
